Postępujący w ostatnich dekadach proces globalizacji wykreował wiele nowych rodzajów wyzwań wykraczających poza granice państw narodowych. Jej autorzy analizują problematykę globalnych dóbr publicznych w kontekście działalności dwóch kluczowych dla ładu międzynarodowego organizacji multilateralnych – Banku Światowego i Międzynarodowego Funduszu Walutowego. Obecnie reali­zuje i koordynuje kilka projektów badawczych dotyczących rozwoju krajów Afryki Subsaharyjskiej. Jest wiceprezesem Polskiego Centrum Studiów Afrykanistycznych, think-tanku propagującego Afrykę w sferze publicznej i dyskursie naukowym w Polsce. Prowadził badania terenowe m.in. w Zambii i Botswanie.
