(…) otrzymujemy kompendium wiedzy o autyzmie od historii tej jednostki zaczynając, a kończąc na najnowszych teoriach jej dotyczących. Poruszył mnie styl tej książki, pełen empatii, delikatności oraz pragnienia zrozumienia dzieci z autyzmem (…). Ogromną wartością publikacji jest kazuistyka, w tej części książki opisano szczegółowo trudne historie dzieci z autyzmem. O nowoczesności monografii świadczy podsumowanie – synteza informacji zawartych w danym rozdziale, co w przypadku teoretycznych podstaw badań ma ogromne znaczenie. (…) Książkę uważam za bardzo wartościową, można ją potraktować jako podręcznik akademicki, świetną monografię lub kompendium wyjątkowej wiedzy o autyzmie. Każda jej część świadczy o głębokiej wiedzy oraz rzetelności jej twórców. Jest to ważna pozycja także dla osób z autyzmem oraz ich opiekunów.
